Ant-Blox Starter Kit

The most critical stage of ant keeping is the founding phase. Transitioning a queen with her first small group of workers into a thriving colony requires stable conditions and protection. The Core Docking Module in combination with the Town Square Outworld makes this phase significantly easier and safer.

Integrated Heating Cable Channel
Temperature is the number one driver of colony growth. The Core Docking Module features a dedicated, built-in channel designed to fit our 1-meter heating cable (available as an optional add-on). This allows you to gently heat the test tube section containing your colony. By maintaining optimal temperatures, your brood develops much faster—keeping your ants warm and active even during colder seasons!

How the Modular System Works
Think of the Core Docking Module as the subterranean nest section—sheltered, dark, and ventilated, just like a natural burrow deep underground. The Town Square Outworld represents the world above ground. Connected via the clear connection hose, your workers will emerge from the nest to forage for food, transport supplies back to the queen, and keep their habitat clean.

Watching your tiny architects navigate the connection hose and establish their supply routes into the Outworld is one of the most rewarding parts of the hobby.
