Mansion House Sand Nest (15x15x2)
The Mansion House (nest 15x15x2) is the central part of the ant city you build for your ants with Ant-Blox! This luxury nest section is the base where your ants reside. With the Mansion House (nest 15x15x2) you receive the sand-clay filling as standard so the ants can freely create their tunnel systems and chambers. Welcome home!
Available in 3 beautiful colors!
This sand nest is now available in 3 different color frames. Will you choose the fresh white, natural green, or the unique sand color? Or go for all 3, then you are ready to build the first district in your ant city right away. Of course, you will need a fairly large colony, with at least hundreds of workers. If you don’t have that yet, building your ant city will require some patience.
Unique ventilation and moisture supply
The Mansion House (nest 15x15x2) is specially developed with the well-being of your ants in mind. The lid contains professional ventilation in the shape of the Ant-Blox logo. You can also moisten the sand-clay without removing the lid of the Mansion House (nest 15x15x2) through the 10 mm opening specially designed for this purpose. This opening is neatly closed with the included sealing cap by default.
Layout and connecting the Mansion House
Be amazed at how the ants use and arrange their new space and experience for yourself how intelligent these remarkable animals are! You will see how the ants dig tunnels in the sand and create the right layout.
Openings are made on both sides to connect the Mansion House to other parts of your ant city.
Ant colony
Almost all ant colonies can be kept in this nest. Choose a colony above at a special offer price.
Feeding set
The diet of a Lasius ant colony consists of a combination of sugar water, honeydew, and fruit flies, and for a Messor colony, seeds are added. A feeding set can be ordered above.
